National Nordic Museum. National Nordic Museum Executive Director & CEO Eric Nelson talked about the museum's work, collections and exhibits in Seattle, Washington. A 2019 Act of Congress designated it a national museum. It is the only museum of its size in the United States to tell the stories of the immigrants who left Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Mr. Nelson has received two knighthoods for his work -- from the Swedish king and the Finnish president.
