House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer says he is using the contempt papers that Democrats used against Bannon to draft his complaint against FBI Christopher Wray's contempt of Congress. Wray argues "recording information does not validate the information" but offers Congress other information and they are protecting "human sources". Comer accuses Wray of being an obstructionist.
MSNBC acknowledges AG Merrick Garland chose to prosecute Steve Bannon in Contempt of Congress which weighs on Garland's decision to chose to prosecute Wray. Comer plans a meeting with Wray to see with "specificity" whether Wray will comply.
