Groundbreaking Women in Science & Journalism. Biographers Allison Gilbert and Kate Zernike talked about the subjects of their books, columnist Elsie Robinson and scientist Nancy Hopkins. Elsie Robinson was a nationally syndicated columnist in the 1920s and Nancy Hopkins was a cancer researcher at MIT who fought for equality for women in science. This program was hosted by the Coffee House Club at the Salmagundi Club in New York City.
