Tell frenAnon to eat more "acidy" type foods. Yes, this sound contradictory, but its not. Your stomach needs acid. Your stomach has to produce acid if it doesn't receive acid. Your natural acid is much stronger/harsher than eating...say... pickles, or pickled vegetables, or various vinegars (balsamic vinegar, ACV, etc.). Anything in a vinegar is good.
No need to chug vinegar, just eat a salad with oil/vinegar dressing, a few pickles, drink pickle juice, or eat pickled okra- these are the things that will work.
