The paper purports to have found a potential association between venom-like peptides found from various animals and Covid-19. Dr. Kaufman gives an overview of the relevant issues related to the snake venom controversy and gives a critical appraisal of the experiment and conclusions. NOTES: "There is no new disease." Methods - for identifying the peptides He thinks it's ok, used in the field covid patients n-20, controls n=10 not much info on "patients" like whether they have been vaxxed which test? pcr? rapid antigen? NONE have been validated so: can't be generalized Controls: why only half? Peptides could just be part of the healing process. Evidence is very preliminary, very explorative, no conclusions possible.
