Reel America: Steel, Man's Servant - 1938. This U.S. Steel Corporation film details steel production, from work in the mines and mills in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania to consumer products. According to the National Film Preservation Foundation, the 1938 color industrial film cost $250,000 to make and was seen by over ten million people during twenty years of distribution.
