President Trump with Coronavirus Task Force Briefing
President Trump, along with members of the Coronavirus Task Force, briefed reporters on the federal government’s response to the pandemic. The president spoke of the efforts governors around the country are making to mitigate the spread of the virus. He also discussed the medical equipment recently released to the states with about 10,000 ventilators being held back to accommodate needs during the surge of the pandemic. The president stressed how the next two weeks for the country would be difficult, saying that it will be “a very, very painful two weeks.”

James Swanson, "Manhunt" Apple TV+ Series. "Manhunt" author James Swanson talked about the Apple TV+ series based on his account of the 12-day search for President Lincoln's assassin, John Wilkes Booth. American History TV interviewed Mr. Swanson at the Surratt House Museum in Maryland, where the assassin made a hurried stop for supplies after shooting Mr. Lincoln during an April 14, 1865, performance at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C.
