Barrett Confirmation Hearing, Day 3 Part 2
Following a lunch break, Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett returned for more questions from members of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Each senator received 20 minutes to engage with Judge Barrett on a variety of legal topics.
This portion of the hearing recessed for approximately 40 minutes due to microphone issues. The final 20 minutes of this part, therefore, comprise scenes from the hearing room and tweets and posts from journalists about the proceedings.
