The Midnight Ride, 250th Anniversary: The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere, William Dawes and Samuel Prescott, 250th Anniversary. April 18-21, 2025. Revere's journey will be reenacted at 8 PM April 18th, and 10 AM on April 21st and supported by innovative Innovative programming storytelling including untold stories and celebration will inspire all and cheer Revere along the route through the North End and Charlestown toward Lexington. Charlestown will commemorate the evacuation of Charlestown on April 19 with a Flight and Fire exhibit.

Representative Louise Slaughter Congressional Memorial Service
Members of Congress, staff, and family attended a memorial service held in Statuary Hall in the U.S. Capitol for the late Representative Louise Slaughter (D-NY). Speakers included fellow New York congressional delegation members Representative Paul Tonko (D) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D), as well as House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI). One of Ms. Slaughter's daughters, Robin Slaughter Minerva, spoke last and recalled her mother's deep love for the Capitol and her congressional service.
