endchan just recovered from a three month attack so it's still quiet but hanging in there.
Internet providers group ip's and if you happen to be in that group where someone was banned it can affect your ip. it has happened to me before. After awhile 8 does purge bans although 2021 is a while ago. It might have been a range ban for a determined cp spammer and your ip got caught up in it. There is an email for BO in the dough and you could ask to look into it.
