Comments about the REAL ID sitch.
In Minnesota they've been trying to get citizens to get this ID for a few years, keep threatening that we won't be able to board flights, then they delay implementation.....repeat...
And somewhere along the way I decided to get an enhanced driver license, which is something else we can get here and a person can use it to board domestic flights. According to the state it is an alternative to a REAL ID but when I read about it, to me it seemed to be one step beyond a REAL ID.
I suppose, for people living in states where their regular driver license is considered sufficient for boarding flights, this all-of-a-sudden demand for REAL ID must seem real suspect.
Thoughts, anyone?
