Q&A: Clint Hill
Clint Hill discussed Mrs. Kennedy and Me, his historical narrative of his assignment to guard the wife of former President John F. Kennedy, Jacqueline, from shortly after the November 1960 election until after the 1964 presidential election. He shared stories about the former first lady's travels to Europe, Asia, and South America, detailed the birth of her sons John and Patrick and Patrick's sudden death. He described being in the Dallas motorcade when President Kennedy was killed, and its effect on his own life. He talked about his own boyhood growing up as an adopted child in North Dakota. Clint Hill worked for five presidents. After Mrs. Kennedy, he was assigned to President Johnson. In 1967 he became the special agent in charge (SAIC) of presidential protection. In 1972, Hill was promoted to the position of assistant director of the Secret Service, responsible for all protective forces. He retired in 1975.Show Less

2014 White House Correspondents' Dinner
Journalists, politicians, and celebrities gathered for the White House Correspondents' Association Annual Dinner. President Obama and comedian and actor Joel McHale made humorous remarks about politics and the media. President Obama used slides and a cameo by Secretary Sebelius during his speech. A video co-produced by the History television channel to celebrate the centennial of the White House Correspondents' Association was shown. A humorous video was shown of Vice President Joe Biden and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, star of the television show "Veep." It included appearances by first lady Michelle Obama and Representatives John Boehner and Nancy Pelosi. Journalism awards and scholarships were presented, with the assistance of Mrs. Obama.

Exploitation of Children over the Internet, Day 3
Government officials, a reporter, and a child victim testified about use of the Internet by sexual predators. The also talked about the scope of the problem, the need for proper supervision by parents, and law enforcement efforts to track abuse by predators and prosecute offenders. Witnesses included Masha Allen, who was sexually abused by her adoptive father for six years. Now thirteen years old, she was sexually exploited from the age of five when she was adopted from Russia. Ms. Allen requested that Nancy Grace also testify.

FBI Oversight
FBI Director James Comey testified at a Senate Judiciary Committee oversight hearing on his agency's operations. He defended his thought process for re-opening the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton 10 days before her loss in the 2016 presidential election, and told members he felt "mildly nauseous" to think he might have affected the outcome. Other topics included the investigation into Russia and the 2016 elections, reauthorization of FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act), and challenges for the FBI regarding heavily encrypted devices.
