Brian Blase doesn’t want you to know this, but he is propped up by millions of dollars from the Koch Network’s anti-Trump war chest. He is currently pressuring congressional Republicans to defy the President’s ironclad pledge to protect Medicaid—a program critical to the heartland voters who propelled Donald Trump to his election victories.
Blase’s insidious push to eliminate provider taxes would gut Medicaid funding, hitting Americans the hardest in rural red states like Texas, Florida, and Louisiana, where Trump’s base depends on the Medicaid program for survival. 
This is why Democrats are falsely accusing President @realDonaldTrump of trying to cut Medicaid, because they know it’s an effective way to suppress GOP turnout for the 2026 midterms. 
With 78% of Republican voters firmly supporting Medicaid, according to recent polling, Steve Bannon @Bannons_WarRoom has warned, “a lot of MAGA relies on Medicaid.” If Blase’s scheme succeeds, it could spark a revolt among the GOP’s most loyal supporters, handing Democrats a devastating advantage in the upcoming 2026 midterms, causing the GOP to lose the House. 
This would render the last 2 years of Trump’s new term INEFFECTIVE, because a Democrat controlled House would block his agenda.

President Trump has repeatedly vowed to safeguard Medicaid, a promise that resonates with millions of hardworking Americans. Yet, so-called Republicans cozying up to this anti-Trump operative  Brian Blase are risking it all.
