Yet, watching President Trump’s warm welcome in Saudi Arabia yesterday felt like a full-circle moment for him and many veterans.  It’s hard to describe the vindication and pride he felt seeing a president prioritize peace, especially for those who’ve lost comrades or carried the trauma of war.  Critics on the left, who’ve never stood a post or defended their beliefs with a weapon, can’t grasp this.  Every moment away from family, every sacrifice, it wasn’t a waste.  Trump’s leadership reaffirms that.  As a former recruiter, he can now confidently say to parents: yes, your kid should join the Marine Corps. Thank you, President Trump.
