Dan Bongino @FBIDDBongino - I have a few updates on last night’s shooting that I want to share with you all, in the interest of transparency. Out of respect for the investigation and the charges being aggressively pursued, we are limited in what we can immediately say, but we want to share as much information with the public as possible as we work through the process and seek justice.
- The FBI is aware of certain writings allegedly authored by the suspect, and we hope to have updates as to the authenticity very soon.
- The subject is in custody and interviewed last night at approximately 1am. As this is a pending investigation, we will share more with you when we are able.
- As our WFO office said, the FBI believes there is no ongoing threat to the public at this time. At the same time, I want the public to be assured we are following up on any additional leads to ensure we do our complete and total due diligence on this.
Above all, please pray for the families of the victims. This is something no parent, family member, or friend should have to go through. The FBI sends our condolences and will offer our full support as the investigation continues.

dara khosrowshahi @dkhos - Big news from DC—the House just passed President Trump’s tax bill, bringing No Tax On Tips one step closer to the finish line. While it still needs to clear the Senate, this is a big win for hardworking @Uber drivers and couriers across the country

DataRepublican (small r) @DataRepublican - I suspect the path is more complicated, corrections welcome by @MikeBenzCyber :
1. From the start, Soros had a grand vision to reshape the entire world into a single "Open Society," a borderless global quasi-government with shared norms.
2. The USA didn't exactly buy into his vision at first, but USAID and the CIA gave him the financial backing to build his influence.
3. Once he proved effective in Eastern Europe, he became the unofficial architect of U.S. foreign policy in the region, which put him in an incredibly powerful position after the Soviet Union's collapse.
4. After the Cold War, he successfully sold the West on the idea that the new global order ("New World Order") should be built around Open Society principles. This meant military interventions and demonizing any nation that clung to its own culture or sovereignty as a threat.
5. The Clintons bought in immediately, and the rest of the Western world followed. Change "Open Society" to "democracy" and you have the rest of the story.
