Campaign 2016: Senator Bernie Sanders Presidential Campaign Announcement
Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) formally announced his campaign for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination. Many supporters led up to the senator's speech at the rally in Waterfront Park on the shore of Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont. Senator Sanders outlined all the issues he would like to focus on in his campaign, including campaign finance reform, poverty, raising the minimum wage, Wall Street reform, tax policy, climate change, and health care reform. There were brief signal losses at the end of the senator's speech.
