The fatal flaw I detected was the “appeal to authority” fallacy. I don’t believe it calculates statistical probability as an inference or processes information according to Mill’s Method of Similarity and Difference.
Furthermore, it doesn’t fully understand that the absence of information outside of the norm or major deviations from protocol are a type of evidence. The absence of evidence can be, at times, a type of evidence.
In essence, Grok struggles with analysis and it still favors reliance on “official” or “reputable” sources. (And those quotes are doing a lot of work.)
