America 250: "Independence" - 1976. Commissioned by the National Park Service for the 1976 Bicentennial celebrations, this film directed by John Huston and was shown in Philadelphia's Independence Visitor Center. Filmed on location near and inside Independence Hall, the story features actor Eli Wallach as Benjamin Franklin and includes recreations of historic events from the Revolution through the Constitutional Convention.
