President Trump Meets with Iraqi Prime Minister
President Trump met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi in the Oval Office where the two discussed withdrawing U.S. troops from the country and combatting ISIS. The president also answered a range of questions from the media, including his response regarding fraud charges against his former adviser Steve Bannon, telling reporters, "I fell very badly," about the situation.

President Biden Remarks on Taliban Takeover of Afghanistan
President Biden spoke about military efforts to evacuate Americans and Afghans in Afghanistan after the Taliban seized control. After announcing that approximately 18,000 people had been evacuated since July, including 13,000 since evacuation operations began on August 14, the president said that "any American who wants to come home, we will get you home." He later said that "this evacuation mission is dangerous," and that he could not guarantee the outcome.
