Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer @SecretaryLCD - As I travel the country meeting with American Workers, I’m also visiting sites important to our nation’s history in honor of the 250th Birthday of America.
Last week in Boston, I was at the house of Paul Revere, an American Patriot whose actions helped spark the Revolutionary War and secure our independence 4

Secretary Marco Rubio @SecRubio - .@POTUS’s new Executive Order delivers unprecedented action to protect Americans from wrongful detention abroad. Designating State Sponsors of Wrongful Detention sends a clear message: If you attempt to use an American as a bargaining chip, you will face severe consequences.

Secretary Sean Duffy @SecDuffy - Charlotte’s Mayor doesn’t want the media to show you the ugly truth. Why? Because she and other public officials in her city bear responsibility.
This monster had a track record longer than a CVS receipt, including prison time for robbery with a dangerous weapon, breaking and entering, and larceny.
By failing to properly punish him, Charlotte failed Iryna Zarutska and North Carolinians.
This is totally unacceptable!
Safety needs to be the top priority of elected officials. Citizens don’t want federal dollars going to public transportation that local leaders refuse to keep safe!

Vi Lyles, the mayor of Charlotte, didn’t speak about justice for Iryna Zarutska.
She didn’t demand accountability for how a repeat offender with fourteen arrests was free to slaughter a 23-year-old woman on a train.
What she did was thank the media for keeping quiet. Her statement isn’t about outrage or responsibility. It was a polite pat on the back to journalists for not sharing the video, for not describing what actually happened, for burying the reality under soft words.
“The video of the heartbreaking attack that took Iryna Zarutska’s life is now public. I want to thank our media partners and community members who have chosen not to repost or share the footage out of respect for Iryna’s family.”
“Respect for the family” becomes the shield politicians hide behind when they want the story to fade. It’s the language of suppression. Do not show it, do not talk about it, do not make the public feel what really happened. Keep it abstract. Keep it sterile. Keep it forgettable.
And this is how victims are erased. A young woman is stabbed to death in front of strangers on a train, and the political class rushes not to shine a light but to pull the curtains closed. They tell you silence is compassion, when in reality it is complicity. The family deserves respect, but society deserves the truth.
Without truth, nothing changes.

Selina Wang @selinawangtv - I asked Trump: Why target Chicago and Boston when there are cities in red states with higher crime rates?
TRUMP: Why? Really? Higher than Chicago?
ME: Yes there are, like Memphis and St. Louis.
TRUMP: Excuse me, excuse me. Do you know how many people were killed in Chicago last weekend? Eight. Do you know how many were killed in Chicago the week before? 7. Do you know how many people were wounded? 74 people were wounded. You think there’s worse than that? I don’t think so.
