By law, whether there’s “reasonable suspicion” that someone might be in the country illegally depends on the “totality of the particular circumstances.” Yet the district court barred ICE from considering almost any circumstance, e.g. where people live, where they work, or whether they speak English. All of those criteria were deemed off-limits.

We argued the order was overly broad, aiming to hinder our ability to apprehend and remove illegal immigrants in Los Angeles.

Witnesses watched in horror as he chased her through a pedestrian street with a knife, closing the distance while she ran for her life. She tried to escape into a building, but he forced his way in after her and stabbed her repeatedly until she collapsed and died on the floor.
This was not random. It was a public execution carried out in full view of ordinary people going about their day. A woman butchered while the city watched, another life destroyed by a migrant the state welcomed in and failed to control.
