Glad you're looking into the gut biome! It's like that with EVERY disease. I suspect it's why they want to get the processed chemicals out of food, but they really should allow FMT (gut bacteria transplants) because that's how we can isolate specific biome types, associated with a specific disease, and cure them by replacing them.
