🐺 @LeighWolf - I was a bit tepid on the whole “the left is forming militias” to attack ICE theory until I saw this. 
A “salute report” is ripped right from the pages of basic military training. 
You learn this pretty early on once you join the Marines. 
It’s meant to provide intelligence to higher headquarters on enemy disposition to conduct follow on attacks and suppress or destroy them. 
Definitely far beyond simply letting local illegals know there’s ICE around.
Also just appalling that it’s being pushed by a “journalist.”
