A plan to call into question the very Christianity of Europe. Kyrgyz Bishop Athanasius Schneider seems certain of this. A plan, again, that was "long in the making." A plan, ultimately, "orchestrated." We spoke with the prelate of Astana about this and other issues.

Your Excellency, is there "doctrinal confusion" in the contemporary Church?
Forty years ago, Pope Paul VI realistically observed the following situation within the life of the Church: "It was believed that after the Council a sunny day would come for the history of the Church. Instead, a day of clouds, storm, darkness, searching, and uncertainty has come. Through some crack, the smoke of Satan has entered the temple of God." This situation has worsened in recent decades to such an extent that it forced the great Cardinal Carlo Caffarra to state a few months before his death: "Only a blind man can deny that there is great confusion in the Church."

One of the most debated topics concerns so-called "Intercommunion." The Pope said he had taken "no step back," while Ladarìa spoke of a "text not yet ready." What is the situation?
"We must look at the problem at its roots. The real effect of Eucharistic Communion is the perfect union of all members of the Church. Therefore, the very reception of the Eucharist—even in so-called emergency cases—by a Protestant or Orthodox Christian ultimately represents a lie, since such a non-Catholic admitted to the Eucharist continues to intentionally reject the integrity of Catholic truths and hierarchical communion. This also reflects the theologically contradictory principle of Canon 844 of the Code of Canon Law, which speaks of "intercommunion" in emergency cases. The German bishops' proposals regarding "intercommunion" are merely a logical consequence of the aforementioned canon. And this contradicts the constant practice of the Church for two thousand years.

Has the question of the "dubia" been resolved?
"This question evidently has not been resolved. In fact, the undeniable reality is this: ecclesiastical authorities at various levels have given their approval—even in exceptional cases—to divorce. However, they did so by admitting to Holy Communion people who intentionally and permanently live in uxorium with a person who is not their legitimate spouse. No ecclesiastical authority has the power to dispense—not even implicitly or in an exceptional case—from the sixth Divine Commandment and the indissolubility of marriage.

There is a great debate surrounding the topic of immigration. Has Italy been left alone by the European Union? The Church continues to call our country to "humanitarianism."
"The phenomenon of so-called 'immigration' represents a long-orchestrated and carefully prepared plan by international powers to radically change the Christian and national identity of the European peoples. These powers are using the enormous moral potential of the Church and its structures to more effectively achieve their anti-Christian and anti-European goal. To this end, the true concept of humanism and even the Christian commandment of charity are being abused.

What do you think of Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini?
I don't follow or know the Italian political situation well, so I can't comment on it. However, if a government of a given European nation would attempt to further emphasize its sovereignty and its historical, cultural, and Christian identity in the face of the totalitarianism of a sort of new Soviet Union, which today calls itself the European Union with an unmistakably Masonic ideology, that is certainly to be commended.
