Doug TenNapel @DougTenNapel - Not true. There are some orthodox who have done so but I don’t see it as any different than some Christian’s on X insulting Jews saying they should be thrown into ovens. I’m seeing in Israel that most Jews, Palestinians, Muslims and Christian’s involved the tourist industry are very jolly and kind. They curb their most divisive positions not sure if they might offend a stranger.
We get more strident when our tribe is in both a majority and a power position, that’s when you see the character of man’s nature come out. If the animation industry is pro gay marriage and I’m the only one against it, they flex against a local minority. A mostly orthodox Jewish area is going to be more rude to Christians. A lone Jew in a radical muslim area is going to be beaten.
If a Jew spat on me for my faith it would be a unique way to see t I could identify with Christ and they could identify with His opponent.
