The second bout ended with Bo Nickal defeating fellow American Kyle Daukaus.
Members of the military standing around the arena chanted "USA! USA!" President Trump applauded.
"I gotta thank President Trump for making this happen," Nickal told Dana White in an interview inside the Octagon. Trump smiled.
Nickal added that Trump was a "special person" to "have the balls to do something like this," adding that he was "grateful to God" and citing John 10:10.
Nickal posed on stage as the Marine Corps band played "YMCA." Some guests approached Trump during the song. He stood and briefly spoke with them. Another man approached and squatted behind Trump and had a conversation. I'll share if I confirm IDs.
In response to questions, we do not have a list of guests. I have been unable to spot Mark Zuckerberg, who reportedly is here. Many members of Congress are cage-side near the pool, including Mike Johnson, John Thune and Jim Jordan.

The crowd roared as Lupes pursued Garcia, punching at him wildly as the American was on back.
The Brazilian won the fight in the second round, with a technical knockout. He then climbed the octagon in victory.
As the action replayed on screens, the president spoke to the first lady while seeming to watch the knockout.
White briefly interviewed Lupes after his win.

A 12-jet flyover occurred during the National Anthem at about 8:28, after President Trump's arrival was announced.
In an ironic choice considering the threatening weather, "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC blasted immediately after the anthem.
Trump is cage-side, on the western side of the octagon. Dana White and family members including Donald Trump Jr are with him.
