We arrived for the meeting at 6:03 pm roughly. The two leaders shook hands for photos and then sat down. The spray took about 10 minutes.
HIGHLIGHTS:
IRAN: Macron said the Iran deal is a very important update in the Middle East.
SIGNING CEREMONY: President Trump said JD Vance will come in for the signing ceremony and said that he will be having the dinner so will likely be busy.
"I may be involved I may not."
The text of the MOU will be released "pretty soon…sometime after Friday."
HORMUZ: Trump says it will be completely open by Friday
RUSSIA-UKRAINE WAR: Trump said he had a good conversation with President Putin and Zelenskyy last night. He said they will be "focusing on that."

The two Presidents shook hands for a photo opportunity. President Trump spoke briefly about the UFC fight. He said it was a “great evening.” Macron agreed.
Macron spoke in French then said that the Iran deal that was signed was very important. He said it's important for the whole world. He said opening the strait is imperative and also mentioned Lebanon.
Macron said they will discuss critical minerals, AI and more during these next few days.
Trump then spoke again, saying the strait is now partially open. But essentially ships are starting to go out and by Friday it will be completely open.
Trump said there is a "different set" of leaders in Iran now and that they removed several layers of leadership.
Trump mentioned the stock market briefly.
He said the main thing again is that Iran "will not have a nuclear weapon"
Said the JPCOA was a "horrible deal" and that hopefully now Iran and the US will have a "good relationship"
Talked about how freeing up their oil will be a good thing
(Side note: Spotted Brigitte Macron outside the hotel earlier speaking with staff while we were waiting to be taken inside for the bilat.)
