Bruce Snyder @realBruceSnyder - I want to address something because my messages are already blowing up tonight.
Laura Loomer posted on X that her sources are telling her Mitch McConnell is brain dead, and now the internet is running with it like it has been officially confirmed. This is exactly what I was talking about earlier. Everybody is in such a hurry to be first that they forget the most important part: getting it right.
Here is my rule, and it has always been very simple. If you do not see it on my page, that means I have not confirmed it yet.
Do I have my own thoughts? Yes, I do. Do I think, in all likelihood, there is probably truth to the story? Yes, I do. But that does not give me the right to report something as fact until it is confirmed. There is a huge difference between what I may believe, what I may suspect, and what I am willing to put in front of the people who trust me.
This is where the internet becomes toxic. When someone with that much influence throws something like that out there before it is officially proven, everybody jumps on the bandwagon. Then it spreads everywhere, people start repeating it as truth, and before you know it, independent news reporting takes another hit.
And I will just say it plainly. I do not like Laura Loomer. I think some of her reporting has been right at times, but that does not change the fact that posting something this serious before it is confirmed is irresponsible. In my opinion, the only reason to put that out there that way is to chase clout. Clicks, views, and impressions.
Something like that should stay with the independent reporter until it is proven to be true. You verify it. You confirm it. Then you report it. That is how trust is built.
I have worked too hard to build a reputation for truth and accuracy to throw something up just because someone on X says, “my sources tell me.” I would rather be a little behind and right than first and wrong.
Your trust matters more to me than clicks.

A very high level source told me Mitch McConnell is officially brain dead and machines are keeping him alive, but he is a vegetable and “never coming back.”
So why is his wife @ElaineChao in China instead of by his side?
Is she a Chinese CCP spy? How does the wife of one of the most powerful US Senators just travel to China?
Is she coming back from China? Who is she meeting with in China?
Will she be the one to pull the plug?
