The bipartisan Common Cents Act by Reps. Lisa McClain (R-MI) & Robert Garcia (D-CA), being debated under suspension of the rules, would also require cash transactions to be rounded up or down to the nearest 5 cents. 2/3rds are needed for passage. @cspan

Craig Caplan @CraigCaplan - House will also vote on a rule for 4 bills including 2027 State Dept-Foreign Operations legislation. IF the rule is approved, the SAVE America Act would be added to that bill before it’s sent to the Senate to convince Rep. Luna & other Rs who have been blocking floor action to vote Yes on the rule. Members also plan to debate legislation to make daylight saving time year-round.

If John Thune strips it out in the Senate that will be on him and the entire country should be watching what he does. If he wants to actively work against Voter I.D. & the SAVE America Act he must face the consequences of his actions. His State party should censure him and/or he should be primaried if he wants to betray his constituents in this manner. That is the nature of politics.
