It struck me as a little coincidental
This man BEAVAN was follower of a "Guru" suspected of smuggling, connected to Hollywood and to Jimmy Carter?!
He was getting to wrap up his business, Environmental lawyer and work full time for the Guru.. He had just wrapped up everything to retire..
His wife and child were definitely left behind though; no matter what really happened to him.

The weird thing are the three names in alphabetical order.
Makes me think they are fake names.
