I said this before but I'll repeat it now since it's relevant, I think people like me can do very well in this world as long as they're guided along and mentored by adults that are wise enough to understand what's going on with you and what sort of stimuli and support you need compared to other kids/teens. I was raised by a bipolar psychotic and alcoholic single mother, so there was probably no real hope for me during my youth, no matter how much effort and goodwill I put into it. Now that I'm a little older I'm reaching a point where things are starting to unfold, for better or for worse
