BSG is pure gold. Its made by Mormons, based on secret masonic lore. Themes quite in tune with the Prometheus/Raised by Wolves stuff by R Scott.
Stargate SG1 is a different thing, it will look like dogshit at first. But as you go on, you understand the tradeoffs and how its actually great.
