things Covenant did better

> downer ending as befits an actual horror movie
> handling of android/AI themes
> worldbuilding
> production values (if not by a big difference)
> actors performances across the board 

things Romulus did better
> being directed by a fellow med chad instead of Scott's senile ass
> not trying to be a dozen different movies at once
> pacing and editing
> not ruining the lore (probably related to item #1)
