My case was not that.
The sides of the mountain road collapsed and we only had a small bridge to get out or be there for days.

So much happened on the trip. We almost sunk into a flood, if I weren't quick enough to jump out of the window and push before it sunk, all of our stuff (computer included) would be bathed and we would be stuck. 
The final piece was the car getting apprehended by the police 10 minutes away from our home, almost with my computers in it. It was a "drive on the farm" car with infinite fines and no license.
