very much so yeah. I've never played Deus Ex or System Shock, so it reminds me more of games like Half Life and HL2. my main problem with it so far is that there's just too much lore. way too many audio logs and notes and whatnot. you CAN ignore most of it but you have to fight your OCD to do so. it's cool that you get so much "content" but at the same time it's no wonder most people with actual lives struggle to finish games like this, or they have to rush through and miss most of the story. they took it too far imo but ig it's cool if you're unemployed or a kid
