Their talk about solar and lunar people resonated with me. Same for the mention of the southern man who can easily live off the land because his land is so fertile. I first heard that theory from Molymeme, about how europeans evolved the need to master their environment and to have big enough brains to plan ahead for winter because their environment was no very fertile. It makes sense that these people wouldn't want anything to change, they are content with eating fruit under a tree and being controlled by a fat woman, and of course the women like it because it leaves them to be on top of the social hierarchy.
