The PCs I have seen don't try very hard with general airflow either. They have a fan on the chips, and then some case fans to suck hot air out? I am used to seeing stuff on racing cars where everything is ducted and there is a specific path the air takes in and out. Though that stuff is hard to make for a very modular thing like a PC.
