I've similar xp with e-bureaucracy. I had to do various stuff from submitting tax sheets, through requesting various cheques to simply make appointments. All sucks ass and I have no idea how regular people do stuff like this.
There are over 9000 institutions and one centralized login system, and everything redirects to that, so people can do their business at one place. But then they give us dropdown lists with over 9000 items to pick what we wanna do and where, and most of the options look meaningless, not characteristic enough, and there are duplicates too with mysterious abbreviations or numbers which should specify the actual service but without background knowledge its impossible to know so have to resort to trial and error.
Meanwhile this centralized login system has an automatic logout function, and a clock counts down to zero like some fucking bomb, and at the 9th minute an alert pops up and warns that it will log us out unless we want to stay logged in (Yes - No, click quickly).

Earlier this year they wanted to change the simple password login to time-based one-time password (totp) authentication, which turned out to be a huge failure and beside this they offer "sending a passcode by email" functionality.
And yes, their "how to"s and helps are horrible too.
