I hear that Canada is a hellscape in terms of government, and demographics (inifinte jeets, zero women). Though I do like that sort of wilderness landscape. Luckily there is plenty of that in America. The Dakotas, Montana, or Alaska come to mind.

That does sound nice. I could enjoy that too, though I would have to give up a lot of conveniences.

I don't think I would mind the cold, but the remoteness wouldn't be ideal for me. I would like to have access to some nice roads I can drive my car around on, whereas much of Alaska is so remote you have to fly there in small planes. Beautiful country though. I think it was Alaska that inspired Bob Ross to start painting landscapes. He was sent there when he joined the Air Force.
