don't get me wrong he was clearly very smart and also capable of changing his mind about/revising things, maybe even relatively humble by the standards of those times, but that's precisely the point, I think whenever someone brings his takes into Current Year they have to be aware of what they're doing, at the very least some of the things he saw as pathologies are infinitely more common now than they were then, maybe even the norm, and that's just one of the differences.
