to be fair I don't think Jung expected the act of throwing words at people to fix anything, Doc talked about that problem too, it's just that I think jung is going mainstream with the ancap types right now, and they're weaponizing certain parts of his works to gaslight the dumb brokies and feel better about themselves and their hoarding and jewery and such. it's basically just this intellectualization and recontextualization of the same more primitive social dynamics that those people (presumably) enjoyed in high school and that were prevalent in adult life too until relatively recently
