I meant now though, not back when you were a kid. It's probably different for you but since I never really joined grown up society nor do I see it as a good thing or accept it, they don't like me very much in return. so in practical terms almost everyone I meet is going to act the same as those middle school bullies, trying to convince me of my inferiority. some people are too chill to care, but I don't want to burden them. speaking of which we should probably talk about something else lmao

ironically a surprising amount of convicts in argentina come out of prison with uni degrees. maybe for some people it works as the "male initiation ritual" that Jung/von Franz brought up sometimes, even if there's a softer side to it with all the books and counselling and whatnot. maybe it's something different, idk. I also don't know exactly how common it is, I just hear about it often enough that it seems to be a thing
