I'll talk about Olavo later because its a lot.
But let me clarify: There's 3 contexts I discuss:
The world/society now during the faith crisis. Which is basically all very amoral, even the "good guys" are basically satanists.
The world/society when we fix the faith crisis/thereafter, its the Snowcrashian stuff, its the start of some (collective) light in the end of the tunnel.
And inner/self-improvement/individual  philosophical stuff, these being strongly optimistic, moral and God bound, despite passing through the dark.

The individual is not a product of his time, people can evolve mentally/spiritually to any degree at any time. The progress of society is not a problem of the individual.
