I see.
I wasn't thinking of killing anyone (though I wouldn't be too sad if Sam Altman took too many meth rocks up his ass one night and didn't survive). I was thinking about realizing that certain people may be working collectively, and may be malevolent actors, and that they should be recognized and treated as such if we are having to play any games with them.

I was watching that Mexican girl stream about some philosopher and she watched a Veritas video about game theory (should the monkeys cooperate to clean each other of ticks). Interesting video, interesting how they frame the "win condition" of all their simulations as which strategy scores the most points overall, and made the whole thing a positive sum game as opposed to a zero-sum. The simulated strategies all had short memories too; they would only reference the last one or two moves of their opponent.

If Nick Land can get some tech billionaires to think that we're all stardust and golden, and to treat the people they deal with in good faith because we're all just programs in this simulation, then that leaves a valuable blindspot for malicious actors.
