Objective indicators, but not the question posed. Just because someone bought a movie ticket doesn’t mean they liked the movie. And the box office is considered to be in the first sales success of the "theatrical" season of the show.
Here... if not collecting feedback statistics, then, at least, sales of disc versions in video stores, when you can already at least partially assume that buying a home disc with a film has already seen the picture before buying and made an opinion.
