Operation Solomon was an Israeli military operation to transport Ethiopian Jews to Israel, during which 14,325 people were evacuated in 36 hours.

During this operation, a world record was set for the number of passengers carried in one flight by one aircraft - on May 24, 1991, a Boeing 747 carried 1,122 people (1087 passengers were registered, 35 children hid in their mothers' clothes).
