The why is simple: Why did I program Wolfenstine:Enemy territory map format into the engine? Because I like the 1000 maps from Wolfenstine:EnemyTerritory. Are you trying to troll me? Because it's working. Why for the minetest obj export compatability ? Because I liked the vast worlds minetest made and didn't like that it took a day to import one into gtkradiant. Now you can do it in about a min if you use the git branch included in the ISO. As for why I want other formats? That is simple too: I made maps for Unreal 1997 and Unreal Tournament 1999. In this game we have implemented weapons similar to the various Unreal weapons.
