When endchan went down a few times, or was facing tons of 500 errors, I shrugged, got off my computer and simply engaged in other activities to pre-occupy myself (like cooking, cleaning, some yard work, exercise, reading books, keeping in touch with friends / family, watching DVDs, etc).
