I looked at the ring on your finger, it links to an inner burning circle which emits sunlight mist. It's the basic level astral immortality in the least, possibly better than that. 

It's very neatly formed, the vampire knew what they were doing. 

You should be able to channel your own energy through the ring to activate the tools posted in the library thread for example.
