> Wondered why are you not doing this by default. I thought you purposely provoked them by "acting vulnerable"
You ever play the old 2D game Worms?

There are two types of players, the lightside and the darkside. Light players always stay in the open and rely on being able to shoot long distances with accuracy.

Darkside players dig into the ground for cover and use tactics like blowing up the ground itself, causing their enemies to fall off the map. In the actual game I would always play dark tactics, but in reality, I'm playing lightside. Because, the only way to stop the hostilities long term is to teach them to not attack someone standing in the open. They need to learn to respect me. Those who don't learn this will be eliminated. Call it conditioning, or call it a breeding scheme or whatever. Remove the hostile DNA until it doesn't exist. This does not work if I move out of their range.

In "Gangs of New York", the police chief hangs his pocket watch on a lamp post and leaves it there, saying
"they all know it's mine, so they won't touch it"
because he has the street so much under control that he can do that as a show of force. Touch his watch and it's over for you. The gangs will keep even their kids under control so they don't disrespect him.

This is the goal. The only reason to dodge anything is to make a point, such as if they think they can actually hit me out of their own ability, and not because I'm letting them hit me. It was demonstration.

Also, evil beings are perfect for getting rid of karma. They're stupid enough to fill their entire soul up in a matter of seconds if you give them the chance. There's a perk to my soul make-up that allows me to store enormous amounts of karma and pay it off at my own pace, this is one of the secrets to being a historical serial killer. The real secret is that I can both amass karma and get rid of it really fast if I want to, without anyone interfering and trying to force it.
